Matilda Sakamoto is a choreographer and dancer born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Matilda received her BFA from Juilliard. She is currently freelance dancing and choreographing in the city. Matilda is also a visual artist and loves to meld these worlds together in her work. Matilda creates, choreographs, dances, does good things and always tries to be free.
Emily McDaniel graduated from Booker T. Washington Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, Texas before receiving her BFA in dance performance from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance. She is a NFAA YoungArts alumni and has performed at venues including the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts in Miami, Warner Bros. studios in Los Angeles and Joe’s Pub in New York. She has performed works by Adam Barruch, Larry Keigwin, Lar Lubovitch, Stephen Petronio, Ohad Naharin, Takehiro Ueyama, Kate Wallich, Ellis Wood and Doug Varone. Emily currently dances with Brian Brooks Moving Company.
Amanda Krische is a choreographer and interdisciplinary dance artist based in New York City. A graduate of LaGuardia High School and Purchase College, SUNY, she has since performed for Loni Landon Dance Project, Rosalind Newman, Nicole von Arx & Guests, and Bodystories: Teresa Fellion Dance. Her work has been presented at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, Actors Arts Fund, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Gallim Dance, and Triskelion Arts. Amanda is the 2016 recipient of the Bert Terborgh Award, a YoungArts winner, and a United States Presidential Scholar in the Arts.
